Method / The operating standard

Notice the problem. Make the decision. Build what survives.

Real Company is a studio-and-venture company. Services expose us to real pressure; owned products make us live with our own advice.

Proof over promise

The request is rarely the real problem.

A request tells us what somebody expects to be made. We investigate what is actually costing time, trust, money, or momentum.

That distinction protects the work from becoming a polished answer to the wrong question.

  • Talk to the people inside the work
  • Trace the user and operating path
  • Separate symptoms from constraints
  • Name the change that matters

Deciding what not to build is part of the job.

Scope grows when nobody wants to be responsible for removal. We make the tradeoffs explicit: what the first version must prove, what can wait, and which complexity does not deserve to exist.

A smaller honest product or website is stronger than a broad uncertain one.

Design and software move together.

We shape the content, interface, technical system, and operating path around the same decision. That continuity lets the work respond to real constraints without becoming a collection of compromises.

  • Research and product direction
  • Content, flows, and interfaces
  • Production design and development
  • QA, accessibility, SEO, and release

The true test happens after the presentation.

We ship an honest version, observe what survives, repair what fails, and improve without losing the original reason for the work.

Our own products—Morthi and Drip—exist under the same pressure. They are not decorations in a portfolio; they are evidence that we remain responsible after launch.

FAQ

Questions, answered directly.

Is Real Company an agency?

No. It is a studio-and-venture company. Client services are a revenue engine and a place to develop judgment under real market pressure; owned products turn that learning into compounding value.

What kinds of clients are a fit?

Founders and teams with a real website, product, software, or operating problem—and enough openness to diagnose the problem before fixing the scope.

Can you join after a project has already started?

Yes. Half-built and already-live work often provides the clearest evidence. We audit what exists and make an explicit repair, reduction, or rebuild decision.
